For over 15 years advocates for kids gathered in Frankfort for Children’s Advocacy Day at the Capitol to fill the halls of the Capitol and ask their elected officials to step up for Kentucky kids. The critical mass of advocates in the Capitol building led to many policy wins and raising awareness of issues facing kids and their families.

More recently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve transitioned to Children’s Advocacy WEEK with a week-long series of virtual events. Kentucky kids needed advocates more than ever before and we’re counting on YOU to show up for kids in 2023!

Children’s Advocacy WEEK at the Capitol!

The 2023 Children’s Advocacy Week will feature virtual events, including opportunities to connect with legislators and other advocates. We also hope to host in-person events in Frankfort and will be monitoring safety guidelines and update advocates as events evolve.
