For 15 years advocates for kids gathered in Frankfort for Children’s Advocacy Day at the Capitol to fill the halls of the Capitol and ask their elected officials to step up for Kentucky kids. The critical mass of advocates in the Capitol building led to many policy wins and raising awareness of issues facing kids and their families.

And then? COVID-19 forced the cancellation of in-person events across the globe, including the 2021 Children’s Advocacy Day. Kentucky kids needed advocates more than ever before, however, and when we announced a shift to a weeklong virtual event in 2021, you showed up! As a result, we are announcing…

Children’s Advocacy WEEK at the Capitol!
January 18-21, 2022

The 2022 Children’s Advocacy Week will feature virtual events, including opportunities to connect with legislators and other advocates. We hope that there will be some in-person events as well and will be monitoring safety guidelines and update advocates as events evolve.

Sign up to receive updates about Children’s Advocacy Week so you’ll be among the first to know the event schedule.
