Tweet Chat on a Kentucky Earned Income Tax Credit

While many spent Monday drinking green beer and celebrating their Irish (or lack of) heritage, several advocates and experts got together on Twitter for an hour-long chat about how a state Earned Income Tax Credit would benefit Kentucky.

This was Kentucky Youth Advocates’ first time hosting a Tweet Chat. We had great participation from a few folks and many others participated by retweeting to their followers. All talked about the impressive benefits an Earned Income Tax Credit would have on Kentucky – from helping children succeed in school to help adults pay for car repairs to get to work, it’s clear this is a policy that works.
