Kentucky kids are counting on you to vote on their behalf, and a new online system will make that even easier. Kentuckians are now able to register to vote at home, at the local library, or on a school computer. As part of the effort to increase voter participation, Kentuckians of age to vote can now register to vote or update their registration using the state’s online portal, GoVoteKY.com.
To register, a person must enter their name, Social Security number, and birthdate. They are also required to provide their signature, either digitally or via their driver’s license. The county clerk approves registrations and will confirm the registration with the voter.
Mark your calendar for two important dates:
April 18th is the last day to register to vote in the Kentucky primary election
October 11th is the last day to register to vote in the general election
Kentucky kids rely on voters to be their voice. Register to vote and make your voice—and kids’ voices–heard in upcoming elections!
