At Kentucky Youth Advocates, we’re already gearing up for the 2026 state legislative session—and with a new year comes new opportunities to stand up for Kentucky kids!

Children’s Advocacy Day at the Capitol has always been a powerful moment to lift youth voices, connect with legislators, and push for policies that put kids first. While renovations at the State Capitol mean this year’s event will look a little different, our mission remains the same: make Kentucky the best place in America to be young.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 4, 2026!

This year, we’re adapting Children’s Advocacy Day to make the most of this unique moment. Expect even greater support in setting up one-on-one meetings with your legislators throughout the week. We’ll also be encouraging advocates to attend committee meetings, share their experiences on social media, and connect with other advocates in new and meaningful ways. We know that advocacy is strongest when we come together, innovate, and make our voices heard for Kentucky’s children.

Stay tuned as we roll out more updates this fall and announce additional events that will help you stay connected and engaged. Sign up for updates here to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
