Danville Rally 2Advocates who mobilize to take action on behalf of Kentucky kids and families are key to legislative wins for kids. To better prepare those advocates, we have recently revised our Advocacy 101 page.

The page includes a new Advocacy 101 flip book, a powerful tool for child advocates that explains what advocacy is and how anyone can take steps to act on behalf of Kentucky kids. The presentation encourages advocates to get involved by contacting their legislators, sharing messages on social media, or attending events like Children’s Advocacy Day at the Capitol on January 14, 2016.

The flip book also offers tips on how to stay informed through blogs, issue briefs, and the KIDS COUNT data center. Everyone can be a child advocate with the right tools.
